For the last 27 years, Stephen was the Alterations Manager/ Tailor at Barneys New York. His life-long passion, however, has always been gardening. As a child of 9, he would take his paper route money to a garden center to purchase whatever small tree or plants that would fit in the trunk of his grandmother’s Toyota. Those trees were still going strong as of last year.
Last year he decided to try to make something happen in that field. He has found it really wonderful working side by side with enthusiastic plant people and being outdoors every day doing what he loves.
When he’s not working, he’s usually gardening in his own garden. He also love travel, photography and is usually seen lost in a book.
