Christie Dustman is a life-long gardener with family farming roots in upstate New York. Going into her 10th year of business, Christie Dustman & Company Inc. strives for the highest level of service to residential clients and their plants alike.

Using horticulturally savvy pruning techniques and her intuition about the best artistic shape for any plant, Christie proves herself an expert Aesthetic Pruner. “I have a vision for each plant I prune. First I address its immediate needs, then I cultivate its most glorious form.” Designing gardens in and around Boston, Christie’s designs are remarkable for their practicality and innovation. “A job well done is when my Clients and their new garden fall in love”.

Christie’s professional training from Harvard’s Landscape Institute of the Arnold Arboretum, UMass Extension’s Green school, and numerous seminars only fueled her passion for gardening and design. She passed a voluntary certification test for landscape professionals in Massachusetts (MCLP) with the highest score to date and is a Certified Organic Landcare Professional.

Christie has exhibited her work at the New England Flower Show. She has been published in the Newton and Brookline Magazines, featured in the Boston Globe and has been featured in PeoplePlacesPlants magazine.
