Melissa DeMichele
Crew Leader
A native of Boston, Melissa is beginning her third year with Christie Dustman and Company as the Maintenance Crew Leader. She holds a Bachelor Degree in Art Education and has 11 years of experience working at the YMCA. Melissa brings her creative eye and supervisory skills to her job of managing the day-to-day field operation of the company. Melissa supervises the crew on-site, maintains the work schedule and translates Christie’s vision into client’s gardens.
As an art major Melissa says, “I fell in love with the design process and now I have a living palette to work with.” She is currently enrolled at the Landscape Institute at the Arnold Arboretum and is excelling in drafting and design courses. “I look forward to some day being able to create masterpieces like Christie and Kathy."
